The SPMA is excited to host Scott McGillivray, Chief Strategy Officer with iQmetrix, to find how they have taken their local brand to the global stage.
According to the team at iQmetrix, "The root of what makes a successful retailer or brand has been, and will always be, the customer experience." iQmetrix’s passion for retail and creating great experiences for retailers, their employees and the end consumers has helped the company take that expertise and expand it into new markets and new products.
Scott doles out the company’s marketing, culture, and development strategy in between giving the types of motivational speeches usually reserved for the locker room scenes of the best Hollywood sports movies. Scott brings years of marketing experience to iQmetrix and always strives to keep on top of the latest trends. (He even has a Pinterest board – or “Pininterest” as he would say – but the closest he’s come to completing a craft is the beer he drinks…) Scott has a passion for the creative side of the business and has a keen sense of how to build teams of people you’re excited to come to work with every day. Before joining iQmetrix, Scott was an award-winning business prof at his alma mater, the University of Regina.
